THE AMAZING FEELING OF ACCOMPLISHMENT!!!!

So for all those that are following me on facebook either my own personal profile or fitness page knows that this last Friday was a great day for me!  Not only did I finish first round of INSANITY The Asylum but I went and had my hydrostatic body composition test done. (where they weigh you in the water) So with that I made my fitness goal of being at 17% body fat which is in the EXCELLENT range for my age/body composition. Where as 22% is the ideal/average.  Words do not describe that long awaited result/feeling!
I've completed 3 programs this year so far and have realized how necessary it is for me to have a program of sorts to be on, the need for me to cross off that square on my work out calendars as completed each day. I'm very competitive with myself, I like to challenge my self mentally and physically and have that desire, thirst for accomplishment and thrive on it!  Making my goals only motivates me more and makes it easier to make the right choices especially as far as diet is concerned. I've worked so hard why would I hurt myself by over indulging in something harmful for my body. I feel like I've finally arrived at where I want to be! Don't get me wrong, the work isn't stopping and I have plans and goals to become even better. This isn't about vanity, just looking good on the outside. I love how I feel on the inside too! I want long term...lifetime health and stamina..I want to continue to improve and progress. I don't feel like I'm obsessed and I'm not going to be overly extreme about things. I am reasonable and passionate and I want to help others with their struggles. Because lets be real about this....It is a life time deal to be healthy and fit...you just don't go and do a program loose weight and then stop...it's a forever deal. And well worth the effort!  Here is my review of Asylum:

INSANITY The Asylum:
WOW! This is an amazing 30 day program. This is not P90X and it is not INSANITY. To me it is it's own deal. Which is good. they should be different our bodies need different things and to be trained differently at different times...always change it up!  Have you jumped rope lately? Let me tell you..it's not as  easy as it was in elementary school! Plus Shaun has you doing different things as your jumping and trying not to trip up as you move the rope faster than it seems your feet are moving. There is a lot of coordination work here. I'm all about working on your weaknesses and making them strengths. This program for me was all about improving performance and getting stronger. Every work out had my heart pumping and burning calories. Many moves look easy...but wait until you do them and for the period of time and sets you do them for. WHEW!  Bonus for me I lost an overall 2" in the 30 days. Everything is firmer and tighter.  I improved in all areas with my speed, agility, hand eye coordination, strength.  Now I'm just deciding on either round 2 or doing it as a hybrid with P90X or INSANITY.   I have  a few videos on you tube that will give you a taste of what some of the videos include. I'm still working on my video making, not that easy sometimes.  The link to that is on here on my Links Menu.
That is all for now :-)
