Week 3 of P90X...feeling sooo good!

OK, week 3 of P90X starts now! I love the tracking sheets to see how much I've improved just in two weeks. I'm so excited for summer. I love the sunshine and feeling it's warmth on my skin. Hubby and I are planning a lot more river trips this summer with the kids. I use to love winter, but not so much anymore. Maybe it's because the winter I grew up with had snow and it's just different when living in an environment where that's expected so to have cold days. In SD with depressing clouds and no snow is no fun. It's nice I can still go visit it the snow. The sunshine makes me happy. I'm so excited to look and feel even better by summer. I've spent the last year trying to implement healthier eating in our home by cutting out processed foods and sugar as much as possible and today as much as I want to eat a box of girl scout cookies or eat the kids candy...I really don't because I know it will set me back and my body just doesn't want it anymore. Well maybe sometimes, if I can just keep it out of the house I'm good. No one is perfect, certainly not me. Goal this week is to get back to my work outs starting in the early morning. I've ended up doing most of them at night and it's so much nicer to start first thing in the morning and get it done so I can feel good the whole day and concentrate on all the other stuff I need to do, like church stuff, PTA, class mom, dance mom, my job! And maybe get around to my endless list of projects I'd like to finish. I was reading my Diet Solution manual (all about lifestyle changing-not a diet) and thought I'd share this thought for the day/week:  Ask yourself "Is this choice I'm about to make bringing me closer to my goal or taking me further from it?"  and "remember that looking and feeling good requires hard work and dedication."  Have a great week!!!
